Tour description

The Bird route is best started on the south bank at the western bridge over the Palic Lake. The touring mark represents a bird.
In order to discover the fantastic biodiversity of the birds at Palic Lake, we cross one of the bridges at  which divides the lake into several sectors. From here you have a wonderful view to the west of the "bird islands" in the second sector, where many birds find a breeding ground in the spring to raise their offspring. To the east we can see the middle part of the Palic lake. Here you can discover many native, but also some migratory birds that make a rest on their long journey at the Palic lake.
In the reeds and in the bushes along the shore-wise path to the north, we can observe many different birds. We follow the path to the next overpass over the lake. From here we can already see the bird watching house on the south side, which we are now heading for. As you cross the lake, you may be lucky enough to spot other animals in the protective reeds. The path leads us directly to the bird watching house, which invites us to have a rest. Camouflaged under the wooden shed, from here we can observe and determine various species in the third sector. To get back to our starting point, we follow the path south until we reach the road.

Equipment

Wearing sturdy shoes is recommended. For birdwatching it is just the right thing to bring binoculars as well as literature on the local species.

Special note

Beware of the road!

You will pass farmers houses with dogs in their yard. Most of the dogs will bark at you. Don`t be afraid.
