Tour description

The varied cycle route, starting at the Tourist Information Center in Palic, leads to the Visitor Center on Lake Ludas. Along this tour we follow the signs with the butterfly symbol.

From the tourist office in Palic, the path leads to the east side of the small but very interesting Lake of Blood. We follow the path along the lake to its southernmost tip. From there we drive on the Kanjiski south towards the  Bogdan winery. The magnificent winery invites you to linger. Guided tours can also be booked here. Then we return to Kanjiski Put, which we follow until over the highway overpass and then turn left into the Crkveni put. The agricultural way makes the track a bit more challenging at this point. At the end of this path we turn left onto the Ludaski sor, where we find ourselves right in front of a local church. The adjacent village in the north has an idyllic charm. At the next crossroad you have the possibility to turn right to get a wonderful view of Lake Ludas. The actual route goes to the left. On this street we have the opportunity to stop off in "Hompot Pincészet" or "Guljas carda" and get to know the regional cuisine. About 500 m before the end of this road, we turn right into a path that leads us closer to the shore of Lake Ludas and later flows into Horgoski put. On the main road there is a cycle path where we keep to the right until the next turn. The route continues on Sarajevska Street and Prvojmajska Street directly to the Visitor Center at Ludas Lake where we can get some information about the region or relax in peace on the jetty.

Tip

Visit the Hungarian gray cattle near the Visitor Center Ludas.

Equipment

For hikers, sturdy shoes are recommended.

You may also want to bring a binocular for the observation of birds on the lake.

Special note

Outside the opening hours of the Bogdan Winery, the terrain can not be entered. Please drive outside instead.
